Our Story<\/span><\/h2>

The idea for The Spawted Dog LLC came from my love (even obsession) for my two American Cocker Spaniels, Miles and Gigi, and my desire to keep them healthy and groomed to perfection. When my family moved to North Carolina with Miles and new addition, Gigi, we left behind our trusted groomer. I tried to find someone new but travel, cost,  milage and groomer availability hampered the process. Keeping their long coats clean between visits after rain, mud or trip to the dog park became increasingly frustrating.

Armed with a background in law and research, I decided to try my hand at grooming Miles and Gigi at home. I dived into an endless stream of tutorials, videos, books, articles and community groups to learn. Through a lot of trial and error, I realized how much I loved grooming and decided to enroll in a grooming class offered at a local community college.

When I realized the need for groomers in the area, I set out to fill the gap with an eye toward making the process educational and as easy and enjoyable as possible. Now, I’m able to provide other pet lovers with the same thing I desired by creating a safely,  clean and efficient grooming salon driven by art, customer service and science. <\/span><\/p> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
